11 June 2017: Research is crucial for monitoring and assessing progress on achieving fundamental human rights.

Today, we are happy to announce that a tripartite cost-sharing agreement has been signed between UNDP, the Human Rights Commission of the Maldives and the Family Protection Authority for conducting the landmark Human Rights Baseline study ‘Right Side of the Life’.

Twelve years ago, in 2005 UNDP and HRCM partnered to conduct the first Right Side of Life study, and we are happy that the partnership has broadened to include the Family Protection Authority this time.
