Media training on ethical reporting on conflict sensitive topics and situations

To address the polarization of media sector heightened by the period before the presidential elections, UNDP supported on the job training and coaching of journalists and teamed up with an NGO to to conduct a dialogue between media organizations on the role of media during elections. A Journalism Bootcamp on developmental reporting was also conducted.
Training workshop for civil society focused on leadership development concludes

The first in a series of workshops targeting capacity building of civil society organisations in the Maldives concluded today. The workshop was held as part of the one-year capacity development programme for the local civil society sector, organized by the Integrated Governance Programme (IGP) of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with support from the US Department of State.
